Today we're announcing another long waited release! The next big release of the Advanced Topic Prefix, the new version is: 3.0

There are a lot of changes since the last release, the main idea behind this release was to extend prefixes to even more areas and to make it even more powerful for your forum, here are the big changes:

Search by Prefix:

This is such a great feature, I'm quite sure everybody is going to just love it, this allows you to filter results of a regular search by Prefix, this means that you can actually find the topics that are related to something quite specific, this has endless uses for regular forums and just for this, 3.0 upgrade worth it! (It's free don't worry  ;))

HTML Format:

Another big feature! This one allows you to set an HTML Format to your Prefix! In that way you can customize prefixes with endless combinations! This is so simple to use, you only need to select the HTML and use the command {prefix} where the prefix is going to be, so you can just use something like:

<span class="prefix" style="background-color: #ff0000; padding: 3px; color: white; font-size: 11px; font-weight:bold;">{prefix}</span>

Having this css class:

.prefix
{
-moz-border-radius: 4px; /* for firefox */
-webkit-border-radius: 4px; /* for safari & chrome */
border-radius: 4px; /* for others (opera) */
font-family:"Verdana", Times, serif;
}

It's going to display this: this is just one of the endless possibilities that are going to give even more style to your prefixes!!

Require Prefix per Board:

Another requested feature! In the past, you were able to set a setting that forces users to select a prefix in order to create a new topic, that was great for some forums, but we heard complains about it as some boards should have it but others no, that's why we've included the ability to choose in which boards prefix must be selected before publishing, even an admin interface has been provided to quickly select those boards, as an example we've enabled that feature in the Feedbacks board, that is a great example of this as a feedback without a selected product isn't helpful at all.

Prefixes in even more areas:

Prefixes are now shown in Wireless and RSS Feeds, allowing you to extend even more the real meaning of your topic, this is done carefully, so the link won't be changed and only the important part of the prefix is going to be displayed, allowing people that follows you for any of those ways to know more about a topic without going into it.

In addition to all that we've done some little tweaks and have fixed all the remaining bugs, we're quite sure that you're going to love this new phase of this wonderful mod and we encourage users to upgrade as soon as possible to quickly enjoy of all this new things, if you aren't a customer you can purchase it quite fast and for a really, really, low price, upgrade to 3.0, as usual, is free to all customers.

Enjoy it!

Hi

Can I include more than one prefix per topic, if so please explain me in very simple way.My forum-related knowledge is sub-zero  :(

And how to set the prefixes for search. I mean, if somebody clicks the prefix from the topic, it will take him to a filtered list of topic according to the prefix. Example link below. Again, pls explain in very simple way.
