Hi,

I have a question about this mod. Is it possible to configure this mod, such that only Admin and Global Moderator can view it? I don't want (at least for the moment) others to see overall activity at the forum.

Thanks

Mod Requests / Re: No copy mod

Thanks Nibogo!
Most of my forum's users are women interested in esoteric. I believe beyond basic computer deployment very few of them excel in SW development as well. What it takes to get the mod per described?

Thanks for your prompt response, Nibogo!
What comes to your mind with regards to hacking, which is not described in the initial post?
But generally speaking if over 95% users will be stopped from trying to steal the contents - those are good achievements...

Mod Requests / No copy mod

Hello Nibogo,

I'd like to request new mod, where user is not allowed to copy from the message. I spend lots of time researching various topics and I'd like users to come to my forum for the unique content and don't want to see the fruits of my work appearing on other places all over the internet. Most of the topics will be allowed to be freely copied. But some are copy-protected. I know, it's been discussed before, that it's difficult to overcome technically savvy users, anyway, here is what I have in mind:

1) When copy for the message is not allowed it's not possible to highlight text (the message "Copying of this material is not allowed" pops-up) nor CTRL-C / Edit->Copy / Mouse Right-Click->Copy.
2) The copy allowed/not allowed is controlled (via checkbox) at each message.
3) If scripts running at the web browser are disabled the content of the message is not loaded. This prevents technically savvy user to disable scripts through add-ons and freely copy the contents.
I'm sure I missed other ways to copy contents but I think, I showed my intentions.

Let me know if this is something feasible to implement.
If there is price-tag attached to the decision, please shoot me email.

Thanks
Mooncat

PS. I'm familiar w/ your previous attempt on this (Disable Right Click mod), but it partially addresses the problem.
