DESIGN + SEO + FUNCTIONALITY = BLUX OUR NEW THEME

Design: Blux is fenomenal, it just looks great, everything is done with CSS, almost no images were used and that helps a lot in speed load and customization, besides that, Blux has a quite pretty design that looks different from all the other regular SMF themes, the main color behind this gorgeous theme is blue which has been mixed with grey and white to create a really unique design that I'm sure you're going to love.

This is theme is trully tableless, not like Curve, for example the lists of boards and topics in Curve were done with tables, that isn't tableless at all, in Blux we've changed those tables to divs which means a faster page load and an easy customization with just a few changes to the main .css file.

Blux is just easy to the eyes, good looking, professional and the best of all, it's super powerful as you will see in the SEO and Functionality features of this theme. One thing that is quite important, is how Blux gives priority to content, the really important things in a forum are now displayed as they should, leaving all the other stuff behind, this gives the user a better experience.

Every part of the main areas where covered when Blux was designed, it's a great theme with a lot of things that you won't see in any other SMF Theme, it gives great professional look to your website and you, your members and Google (you'll see why) are going to love.

FUNCTIONALITIES: We worked really hard on Blux, that's why we didn't want to finish it without extra additions to it, and here are the main changes in user experience:

Hidden Menu: This feature is just great and you're going to love it, the best of all is that it was made only with CSS, no javascript is used so everybody can enjoy it and it's faster that the regular menus! This hidden menu allows you to quickly access all those important areas that in the past required three clicks, now a Hidden menu is shown allowing users to quickly select what they want, to do it just set your cursor over your username at the top and this is what you're going to see:

Hidden Menu in Posts: As the mentioned menu, but this one is included in posts, also with CSS not with js, allowing you to have a much more clean postbit layout leaving all the unimportant things behind and showing the content as the really important part, all the additional poster info is now available at this hidden menu, to see it just set your cursor over the username of the poster.

Quick Report: Reporting a post should be as easy as possible, as the main interested is you not the user, they should be encouraged with a painless process, in Blux we've included Quick Report, this means that you won't have to load another page to report something, now you can do it in the same topic page, here's an screenshot of it in action:

RSS in Boards: RSS is a great way to stay tunned over the internet, that's why we've added a quick access to the RSS of each board at forum index, allowing users to access to 'em quickly and painless, but as this isn't a crucial part of a forum index they are shown with a little opacity which is eliminated when you set your cursor over the icon, and keeping SEO in mind that image is loaded with CSS so it won't be shown to Google as it should.

Unread Posts: Unread posts are specially marked, letting you know since when new posts has been posted in a topic.

Link to Full Edit: Now in Quick Edit of a post you'll be able to quickly go to the main editor where users can use the editor to make a much deeper modification, this is useful for all the regular users of this great feature.

Full AJAX Support: All the regular Ajax features are supported in this theme, this means that you'll be able to Quickly Modify Posts, Topic Titles at Message Index and Change Posts Icons on-the-fly.

Blux is the actual design on smfpacks? its like a live demo?

The new theme looks great.  Besides the design itself, I think the best part is how every profile option is included in the dropdown when we hover our name at the top.   Very nice.

It would be nice a little #eee background when hovering those links (to show wich link will be used)
