We're proud to announce the final release of the Advanced Topic Prefix v2.0 this release comes with a lot of new interesting features that has been suggested by some members, this release come with several tweaks that makes this mod one of the best packages available for SMF.

So you maybe wondering what is new in this release, well I'm glad to announce a lot of new features I want to note that no bugs has been fixed, why? Because we don't find any and our customers either so there is nothing to fix (yet).

This is the list of most important changes:

• More Places: We're expanding the prefixes all over the forum, as this prefixes are available for topics, only areas showning topics are going to have prefixes so thinking in that we have added prefixes in two additional areas: Notifications on Profile and Stats for Top Topics by Views and Replies.
• Faster: This new version is a lot faster, how we do it? we are using the SMF Cache system to optimize the requests in other words this mod is now loading the prefixes from cache instead of the Database, the topic prefix expire in 5 minutes so 1 query is done every 5 minutes not in every page load as we do it in the v1.0 branch.
• Portals: We know that this isn't the only mod availalble for SMF and we know that Portals are great additions for a lot of SMF Forums so we have added two functions that can be used as PHP Block to show Top Topics by Views & Replies or show Recent Topics obviouslly with Prefixes and this is done in a very clean way based on the SSI Functions.
• Sort Topics: This feature can be pretty useful for a lot of forums, the topics of every board can be easily sorted by their prefix so we can find everything pretty quickly, this new box that allows all the users to do it can be collapsed too so in case that someone find it anoying he can hide it but obviouslly he is allowed to expanded again if it's what he wants.
• Italian: In our effort to internationalize our mods we have added the Italian translation for ATP, this was translated by one of our customer raffo and obviouslly we have his permission to distribuit it.
• Little Changes: Somethings has been optimized to have a better perfomance, some functions has been changed in order to get the best code possible.

All of our old customers can upgrade to this new version without any additional payment (this is do it for all our products) and it's already available in the Download Section but if you aren't a customer please follow this link to get addtional info about this mod and how to get it.

Enjoy It!
