Today I'm announcing the release of the new version of our SMFPacks Attachments Uploader. This new version comes with several new features that take our attachments mod to a new level! Here are the new features:

HTML 5 Uploader:


This new uploader is based on HTML5 and JavaScript, which allows it to work on every device that allows upload of files.

Drag & Drop:


You can now upload files using drag and drop! This makes upload of multiple files much easier!

Preview of images, videos and audios!


Now you can preview files that are images, videos or audios to view in-page if they are what you want to upload!

Inline errors!


Files with errors are shown as soon as you choose them, not when you try to post and an awful error message is shown. This makes posting a lot easier and smoother!

Progress Bar!


A progress bar is shown when you select files allowing you to know how much time is left before the file is finally uploaded. This allows users to write and upload files at the same time!

Delete files!


In case that you've selected the wrong file you can delete it with a simple click.

Is there a demo anywhere?

I´d like to see how it works in responsive layout. Will you add resize-feature (ie imagemagick)? Is it possibe to have the uploader at quickreply?

I'll install it here as soon as I can. Resizing of images is beyond the scope of this mod, if you are talking about the image preview, yes that's resized.

I know this is an attachments uploader, but is there any thought or possibility to being able to drag and drop a photo into a post itself as opposed to having it as an attachment below the post?

Not from a local file; however our attachments uploader is integrated with ILA which allows you do it.
