SMF is missing a really good blog mod, like vBulletin has

I've some work started on it somewhere, as I'm missing that feature too; however, I'm not that sure if it's going to be released at some point.

I hope you do, it's the one major mod that's missing and would be very welcome.

Yes, will be very good a blog mod. If this mod have some post integration (like select what forum's topic appear like blog post - or make the blog post to appear like a topic in your choice forum-)

And can manage what forum topic 's comment appear (in related post) blog comment section.

And install/use this mod in another directory (forum in yourdomain.com/forum and blog in yourdomain.com/blog) will be hipermegasuoer good hahaha.

A good blog mod will be a sure purchase for me ;-)

Thank you!

Sorry for my english, is TERRIBLE!

I've being thinking about it, but I've nothing done yet, it's interesting, but I don't know how well it could be sold.

You guys keep me thinking about this, maybe I should look at this possibility anytime soon!

I would put my hat into the conversation and say, I would love a fully functional blog system - especially if members could have their own.

It's something I've noticed many times over in the SMF forum.

I support this and would like buy it. Maybe you could base it on MX Blog which has been abandoned but being the most advanced available SMF blog system.

It would need to be responsive

Is this still going to happen?

Not happening.

That's a shame, I had geninue interest (as did others) but I can understand that it hasn't worked out.
