It would be nice to have a paid option that allows us to set a monthly fee that charges members for extra features like the ability to change the color of their name, a background image for their profile, a special badge beside their name, access to private boards for supporting members etc.

I have lots of youtube subscribers who would financially support my forum if there was a way to provide something in return.

You could use Paid Subscriptions for that, what they could do with it would be a custom mod as I don't think something like that would be of interest to that many forums.
