I have a question. Is SMFPacks Auto Media Embedder something like Onebox from Discourse What is a onebox? - faq - Discourse Meta
I understand it embeds media, but can this mod embed links too, as Onebox does?

No Itlox, it does not embeds every single link on the web, only the ones in the list we have. This feature could be included in the future, but it might break the layout of the page for really simple links.
