Hi there how is the SEO-Mod working on big Forums (aprx. 2.000.000 Postings)? Any experience there?
How exactly is the sitemap.xml created ? I used "Optimus Brave" for example and that mod made problems while creating the sitemap when saving a new post in the board... (Sitemap file contains over 40.000 URLs and hase a size of 9 MB)

I probably would need a function which is less power consuming (Maybe a daily cron-job or something else for creating the sitemap file)

The same question for the function of "similar topics"...
My boards are working with Sphinx as the search-engine because the "mysql - fulltext index" would not work...
So my fear is that this mod may encounter trouble there as well ?

Greets,
Thilo

I am also interested in this. I have a forum in the same size. Unable to use fulltext index but have no sphinx servers so I use google custom search for searching in the forum. Then I guess I won´t be able to use "similar topics"?

I already tried with a customer, and that's right, similar topics gives some problems in forums that are like yours.

OK, thanks for the answer. I guess there is no easy way to fix it?

Improvements can be done, but if the forum really has a lot  of topics and activity, it would be better to not use similar topics.
