I currently use prettyURL's v1.1.1a  .....by switching over to SEO pro, will it rewrite existing url's?

My fear is breaking existing re-written url's when switching over to SEO pro.

SEO Pro 2.0.3 includes 301 redirects right within admin panel, with it you can redirect those urls. I'm writing a converter for Pretty Urls, but it's not done yet.

UPDATE: SEO Pro Mod now 100% compatible with Pretty Urls right out of the box!

I also use Pretty Url ... and I have the same question ... if you buy the SEO PRO, I have a conflict with the "Pretty URLs" that I already have installed?

Not at all. You can use both.

How to do it? I tried it on a sandbox and I get conflicts - the default rewriting pattern is different for SEO and PrettyURLs.

Just disable pretty urls in my mod. There is no conflict, you can have both mods working

This converter will be nice...and i think is very easy to do...

Example of store url from pretty url mod 1.1
id_topic   =  20
pretty_url  = some_example_link

If we get some_example_link and then search that in smf_pretty_topic_urls table we receive the id of the topic. Then using that id we make the new url based on one more mysql query where we find the location of the topic. And that it.

Im runnin PrettyUrls1.1.2 and SMF 2.0.6 Would I get conflicts? If so How do I turn off ur re writing option

From SEO Admin you can disable pretty urls and then you could use both mods.

Be careful not to make double redirects or worst... triple redirects. Google hate this kind of redirects.
I had some troubles whit this specific problem on www.ninjaunits.com a few months ago and it took a while until I discovered the source of the problem. 

I'm aware of it, and i don't think that will be the case here.
