Ok, so sometimes when people post on my forum, and change the font, alignment, font color, etc... the post (when saved / published) has certain bbcodes show up in the post where it should be just regular text

Example: [ size=16 ] the dog is brown [ /size ]  (spaces on purpose)

This is super annoying to say the least and frustrates my users. So my pre-sale question is.... will the Advanced Editor mod take care of this problem, so the text, fonts, alignment, etc... shows up as it should?

Based on my "previewing" the text of this message, I assume my answer is yes. LOL

Thanks in advance!

Dave

Hey,

Yes, this editor is smarter and tries to accomodate font sizes property; however, every editor may add sizes even when they are not required, simply because the copied content has a size which should be replicated!

Hi

Does the Advanced Editor resolve the double spacing issue that currently exists when SMF users enable WYSIWYG on their Profile.

It basically causes there to be two spaces under paragraphs instead of one.

It should look like this

When I press Return/Enter twice

And it looks like that

I can post a link to my site if you think that would help.

Sorry, but I don't understand how they are enabling WYSIWYG in their profile?

Good Morning and thank you for replying,

I am talking about the options in the Look and Layout section of a members Profile

Profile > Modify Profile > Look and Layout> there is a list of options and one of them is
  •  Show WYSIWYG editor on post page by default.

When members of my forum have that box ticked a fault occurs when they make a post. It is adding extra spaces to the posts.

Please see this thread for more examples Trying to sort out the problem of double spacing

I want to by the mod if it will fix this issue.

:-)

You can test here and see that no extra spaces are being added :)
