What is the significant difference between your mention system and this mention system in SMF 2.1?

The mod is not compatible with 2.1

I thought to buy it, but I feel the SMF 2.1 will be coming out soon, so it doesn't sense to buy a mentions system for 2.0 since 2.1 has its own built-in mentions system.

I don't think 2.1 will be released anytime soon and the mod only costs $9 so it's a really small price to pay, if you've further questions let me know!

Yes, it is a good price, but unfortunately this modification does not have the ability to clean mentions using e.g. Scheduled task. So the lack of this feature discourages me from buying.
