I've installed shoutbox on my test forum.

i love it, simple to use, it *just* works.
One question, is there anyway to move the shout box from the top of the forum index to the the bottom of the index?

Any plans to make a Pro version?

Move the code for the shoutbox above that part of code in the file.

what is the shoutbox code in the php file?  I couldn't find the keyword 'shoutbox' , i can't think of another key word to search for-

ok, you need to be aware.

index.template.php will show on ALL pages

BoardIndex.template.php will show ONLY on the home/index page

So, the code you're looking for is in index.template.php (which installs there by default) , you want to remove that, then add it in the spot i showed you on BoardIndex.template.php

If you want it on the bottom of ALL pages, then put that code in index.template.php

I'll give it a try with some features I added to Alerts Pro. It should do the trick.

If you make something similar to AjaxChat, I'd be all for it.  Most important thing in a chat/Shoutbox for me is to see who's online in the chat.  Without a feature like that, we just don't bother with it.

Something like CometChat would be an option, but their implementation is already really good, so I'm not sure of how popular my own version would be.
