Social Groups questions

I've been reading this, and seems ideal for my forum, we run an event where we have 6 tournament teams, (each team with 12+ players)  and what I've been doing is assigning team members in their own membergroup, which only gives them access to their team board.  But this seems like it may work a little better, but I do have some questions.

I'm on smf 1.1.11

If the admin (myself) is not added to a group, can I still view the contents of the group?  ( i don't want access if not added)

Is there an option to let non-group members, see all the members in the group?  (i just tested this in here, and i can only see the member base in my own group)?

Do the threads and posts in the groups still count towards the forum total stats?

Is there anyway you could set up a test forum, and let me see how the menu works, and adding members and such? (I'm already a paying customer of another MOD, and serious about buying.  Just want to see if this would work better than our current set up)?

these are the main questions I have for now.  I might come up with more, after a while.

thanx for your time :)

Admin and Social Groups Managers (Permission) can see content and manage groups even if they aren't members.

You can let the content of the group open but non-members would be able to see everything else.

No, and remember that Threads are only for SMF 2.0 in addition to all the new features added in the 2.0 branch.

That would be a little bit tricky, about the menu you just have a setting in the admin panel where you can set the text for example "Communities" this text will be displayed in the menu and in the first part of the linktree when you're in the Social Groups, about adding members I don't understand what are you trying to say, here you can create groups and subscribe to social groups. If this isn't what you were trying to ask please let me know it.

Well, every answer was kinda the opposite of what I was hoping for.  thanx for your time, I may still think about it in the future; it wouldn't actually work well for our BDTL which I was planning on using it for, but , this might be something cool to think about for members to just make their own groups on the forum on the side :)

I'll keep this in mind.

I think the first and last answer are what you were looking for, about the other two I prefer to be honest and tell the true instead of make you pay for something that you aren't going to use :)
