This is another SEO idea, have the topic subject appear (also) in the highest possible place on the forum and the source code between h1 tags.

Just look at how far down in the code the topic subject is (also some SMF js could be moved to external file too):

Because a <hx> tag could be useful and it's easy to implement so that's what could be added

I had h1 tags on topics for years now on my forum :)

There are some mods for the hx tags (not exactly my suggestion):

So you think that for the subject to appear (also) in the highest possible place is not useful/easy to implement?

Yes, you're right the hx tag would be implemented, but I won't be moving the subject to a higher part, that can be done from your site if you'd like it. Topic title would be already in the HX tag and in topic title plus linktree, so I don't think that would be necessary

I see, you implemented it in a custom theme. But there is a problem here for people who want to stick with default theme due to SMF's inherent problem of installing mods in a way that is theme-independent.

Also, I see that your custom theme is not compatible with the SEO mod?
