Hi!

In social groups you can use notifications in threads? or new threads too?

Wich is the use of comments? It is like a "big" one thread in each group?

It would be nice if members without access to a group can see a thread, or something, where they ask/comment about their request to be inside that group (so, for example, admins can ask for a presentation, an reasons they want to be there, etc)

There is any real website using it?

Not in the current version, but it's planned for 3.0

Yep, comments aren't related to any specific discussion inside the group; however, you can give it other uses if you want to.
