I have a very large forum, based on attachments, especially word,pdf or excel documents..
Attachment Center Pro has a preview feature, but it says "Audio, images and videos" ..
Doesnt it have a view feature for documents?
Will it import all the attachments already in the forum, or i will add just the new attachments to this mod?
Is there a demo site?

1. The preview is just for mentioned files (audio, video and images). Documents cannot be previewed.
2. It imports all attachments from your forum, don't worry about it!.
3. There is no demo site yet, there's anything special you need to know?

Yes, that's how it works. You cannot upload attachments directly to the Attachments center, you only need to attach files to posts and they'll be shown there. 
There are no stats like the ones you are mentioning.

we are looking to beef up the attachment setup for our forum, would love to be able to play with this plug in first !
How does it affect the attachment process to messages? the current standard method is clunky , limited and only puts pics at the bottom of a message.
Does this plug in provide a decent interface for uploading content to a post from various sources etc.. ?
are there screenies i can look at anywhere?

This mod doesn't changes the way attachments are uploaded, it's just a central place where you can see all uploaded attachments in your forum. If you want to change upload of attachments check this mod: SMFPacks Advanced Attachments Uploader

Thanks for the info.  I have purchased the advanced uploader , it seems to work ok.
with the Center Pro, will it allow inline video on posts so they don't have to be downloaded etc..?
or is it just an attachment folder viewer basically?

Basically what you have said, they will be able to play audio and video, also see images, but not in the topic, only in the attachments center which is a new page created when you install the mod.
